Calvin Harris werkte bij Marks & Spencers’ voordat hij zijn debuut maakte met het album “I Created Disco” dat een future-disco –sound heeft die hij uit een oude Amiga computer haalde. Calvin Harris is een van die myspace sensaties die tegenwoordig overal opduikt. Hij is een populaire kult producer streep zanger in Schotland die zich niet omringt met hoogtechnologisch materiaal maar gewoon muziek maakt. “I’m not the kind of dude who buys Sound On Sound. I know if something sounds nice. If it does, I’ll keep it. If not, I’ll try and make it nice. You don’t need to splash out on technology.”
